Yes — GoldenFogTables is completely free to use. All games, features, and community elements are available at no cost. There are no paid subscriptions, no premium tiers, and absolutely no way to spend real money on the platform.
No account registration is required to play. Simply confirm your age on your first visit and your Fog Chip balance and progress will be saved locally in your browser. Community features like tournaments and leaderboards may require a profile in future updates.

Fog Chips are the virtual currency used across all GoldenFogTables games. They have absolutely no real-world monetary value and cannot be purchased, sold, or exchanged for anything of tangible value. They exist purely to make the gaming experience more engaging and fun.
Gameplay
Fog Table Poker is a five-card draw game. You place a bet, receive five cards, and select which cards to keep. The remaining cards are replaced in the draw phase. Your final hand is then compared to the dealer's hand, and the better five-card combination wins.
Golden Wheel Roulette follows European roulette rules — a single zero wheel with numbers 0–36. You can bet on individual numbers, colours (red or black), odd or even, or ranges (1–18 or 19–36). After placing your bet, you spin the wheel and the ball determines the result.
Place your bet and receive two cards. The dealer also receives two cards with one face down. The goal is to reach a hand value as close to 21 as possible without going over. You can Hit (take another card), Stand (keep your hand), or Double Down (double your bet and take exactly one more card). The dealer hits until reaching 17 or higher.
If your Fog Chip balance reaches zero, each game includes a "Top Up" or "Refresh" option that restores your balance to a starting amount. Since this is an entertainment platform, we never want a chip shortage to prevent you from playing.
Technical
Fog Chip balances are stored in your browser's localStorage. If you cleared your browser data, switched browsers, used private/incognito mode, or are on a different device, your balance will not carry over. Simply use the "Top Up" feature in any game to get a fresh starting balance.
